Chateraise Hotel Isawa is one of the easier hotel baths to use without a car: the hotel says Isawa-Onsen Station is about a ten-minute walk away. The draw for day visitors is a long bathing window and a straightforward adult admission price. Just keep the three products separate—regular bathing, the lunch-and-bath package, and the reserved private bath each have their own cutoff.

The regular ticket has the widest window
For a bath without lunch or a private-room requirement, the regular ticket is the least complicated choice. It covers the public indoor bath and outdoor bath within the day-use hours above. The hotel notes that operating hours may change or admission may be limited on some dates, so check its news page before travelling.
The onsen analysis lists a simple spring with pH 9.1. The hotel says the water is circulated and heated rather than used as a continuous source-flow bath. The bubble bath uses plain heated water, not the hot spring. Tattoos are not accepted in the public baths under the current FAQ.
The lunch package ends well before the evening bath
The Enjoy Pack began in August 2026 and pairs lunch with a shorter bath window. Lunch service ends at 2 pm, with the final order at 1:30 pm; bathing under the package is listed until 3 pm. If your train arrives in the afternoon, the longer regular day-use ticket is a better fit than choosing the package for its lunch component.
The hotel does not publish a single permanent package price in the announcement; it presents two plans. Check the current offer and exclusion dates before purchase rather than relying on an old promotion.
A private bath costs extra per person
The day-use private outdoor bath is ¥3,300 for one hour per group, and each person still pays regular admission. It may suit families or visitors who need a private bathing space, but it is not an all-in ticket.

The hotel’s September 2026 bath calendar also includes date-specific promotions and a wine bath, while September 17 is marked closed for both lunch and day bathing because of equipment inspection. These are calendar exceptions, not changes to the regular ticket or a permanent closure. Check the calendar for your date.
Walking from the station
The hotel’s access page describes the walk from Isawa-Onsen Station as about ten minutes. A pre-booked free shuttle is also listed, including a 3:10 pm departure from the station, but that timing is not a substitute for checking whether it suits your day-use visit. For a normal walk-in bath, walking is usually simpler than arranging the shuttle around a lodging timetable.
