Bousenkaku's outdoor bath is 100% free-flowing, its small bath is also free-flowing, and the large bath uses a discharge-and-recirculation system. The panoramic Hagoromo bath also changes its operation with the season and outside temperature. Day visitors can usually book a one-hour visit, but admission depends on the day's hotel schedule.

Chouseikan's garden baths pair a heated pool at about 40°C with a low-temperature pool that the inn identifies as 100% source water at roughly 25°C. The layout is unusually varied for a day-use visit, and private outdoor baths can be booked separately. The inn can turn away day visitors when closed or busy.

Saginoyuso has a garden setting and says its large baths and two private baths use free-flowing natural spring water. Ordinary day use is split into a lunchtime window and an evening window, with a gap from 15:00 to 18:00. The current adult price is ¥1,000; older listings at ¥700 are outdated.
