Odoriko Onsen Kaikan in Kawazu: Sakura Views, Prices and Visiting Hours
This riverside Kawazu bath costs ¥1,000 for up to three hours and has an outdoor pool, sauna and rest room. Check Tuesday and maintenance closures before going.
Kawazu is best known for its early-blooming cherry trees, though the river walk is lovely in other seasons too. Odoriko Onsen Kaikan sits beside the river in the Mine district. The baths include an indoor pool, a covered outdoor bath, a bubble bath and a sauna; there is also a 50-tatami rest room.
The outdoor bath has its own brief cherry-blossom window. When the trees along the river are in bloom, you can see them from the bath; later in the year, that view is simply a riverbank setting. If you are pairing a walk with a soak, it is an easy place to spend a few unhurried hours.

A good stop after the Kawazu River walk
During the Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival, the riverside path is the main event. The bath makes a natural finish to that walk, especially if you have been on your feet for a while. The town-run facility is also a straightforward alternative to calling individual ryokan to ask whether they are accepting day visitors that day.
The view depends on when you arrive. In blossom season, the outdoor bath looks toward the cherry-lined river; in other months, come for the bath and the setting rather than expecting the same pink canopy. Festival days bring crowds to the station, road and riverside paths, so allow extra time even if the bath itself is open.
Getting there from Kawazu Station
From Izukyu-Kawazu Station, take a Tokai Bus bound for Kawazu Seven Waterfalls or Shuzenji and get off at the Odoriko Onsen Kaikan stop. The tourism association describes the bath as a short walk from the stop; its 2026 event access note puts that walk at about two minutes. You can also walk from the station in roughly 30 minutes (about 2.2 km), following the river for much of the way.
There is free parking, but that does not guarantee an easy arrival during the cherry blossom festival. Check traffic controls and local parking information before driving on a peak weekend.
Check both Tuesday and maintenance closures
The regular closing day is Tuesday, with additional maintenance closures scheduled during the year. Odoriko Onsen Kaikan is closed September 28–30, 2026, January 18–20, 2027 and March 15–17, 2027. Those dates override the usual Tuesday schedule, so check the calendar for any other changes before setting out.
During the New Year period and the Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival, the town listing says the facility normally opens every day. Event schedules can change, so confirm the festival-year calendar before setting out.
What to know before you go
Call 0558-32-2626 ahead if tattoo rules or towel rental affect your plans. Bringing a small towel keeps the visit simple.
For a hotel-style sea-view bath nearby, see the Atagawa Prince Hotel day-use guide. Odoriko Onsen Kaikan is a more local, longer-stay option, with the river and seasonal cherry trees as its backdrop.
