Super Hotel Hiroshima Yagenbori: Bath Hours, Rooms and Access
Shukkei-no-Yu at Super Hotel Hiroshima Yagenbori opens 3 p.m.–9 a.m.; the hotel is a 10-minute bus ride from Hiroshima Station plus a short walk.
Super Hotel Hiroshima Natural Hot Spring Yagenbori Street sits in Tanaka-machi, a short walk from Hiroshima’s Hatchobori and Nagarekawa nightlife. Its main distinction is Shukkei-no-Yu, a gender-separated natural hot-spring bath that stays open overnight. Breakfast is included, and the evening welcome bar runs from 5pm to 9pm, so the stay can work well if you expect to spend most of the day out in the city.
Shukkei-no-Yu stays open overnight
The bath is open daily from 3pm until 9am the following morning. Its two bathing areas are separated by gender, rather than operating on alternating time slots. That leaves room for a soak after check-in or before breakfast without planning around a short closing window.
The current Super Hotel spring list classifies Shukkei-no-Yu as a simple, weakly radioactive spring. It leaves the source-name field blank. A 2021 opening announcement said that water from Zen’nyuji Onsen in Mihara was transported to the hotel; that is the property’s published source description from its opening, not a newly confirmed supply detail. The hotel does not publish treatment or circulation details on its current property page, so the spring classification is the useful limit of what can be stated confidently.
The hotel’s current bath and property pages do not list a sauna or an open-air bath. If either is essential, confirm directly with the hotel before booking. The room bathrooms are standard unit baths, not private onsen baths.
The room layout is compact; pajamas are in the lobby
The standard room is 12 m² with a 150 cm bed. Extra, Super and Twin rooms are listed at 14 m²; the Super Room adds a loft bed, while the Twin has two 120 cm beds. Connecting rooms cover 28 m² and sleep up to six, which is the most practical option for a group that wants adjoining space. Every listed room type uses the shared Shukkei-no-Yu for the natural spring bath.
The property gallery lists a bathroom in the guest rooms and shows the room equipment, including a refrigerator, kettle, hair dryer and Wi-Fi. Pajamas and the choice of pillows are collected from the lobby; the gallery notes that supplies are limited. That small detail is easy to miss when arriving late, so pick up sleepwear before heading upstairs.
Getting there from Hiroshima Station
The hotel is at 2-28 Tanaka-machi, Naka Ward. From Hiroshima Station, the hotel’s gallery describes a bus ride of about 10 minutes to Tanaka-cho, followed by roughly two minutes on foot. The streetcar takes about seven minutes to Ginzancho or Hatchobori, then it is around a seven- to eight-minute walk to the hotel. The bus stop means less walking with luggage; the streetcar is handy if you are already spending time around the central shopping streets.
Check-in starts at 3pm and check-out is by 10am. Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 8:30am Monday through Saturday, and from 6:30 to 9am on Sundays and public holidays. The welcome bar is listed from 5pm to 9pm. Service times can change, so confirm them for your dates if breakfast or the bar affects your plans.
For a side-by-side look at other Hiroshima hotels with natural baths, see the Hiroshima natural-onsen hotel guide. If you want a bath without staying overnight, the Hiroshima Station evening onsen guide covers day-use options.
