Hiroshima Hotels with Natural Onsen: Dormy Inn, Super Hotel or Grand Prince?
Compare Dormy Inn Annex’s late bath and sauna, Super Hotel Yagenbori’s central location and breakfast, and Grand Prince’s bayfront onsen with an extra fee.
Checked: September 27, 2026 Hiroshima has a few city hotels with genuine hot-spring baths, but they suit different itineraries. Two are in the downtown Yagenbori area; the other is out on Ujina’s waterfront, which can be handy for a Miyajima-bound trip but adds distance from the city centre. Compare the bath hours and the extra charge before choosing by hotel name alone.

Dormy Inn Hiroshima Annex: most bath time for the price of a room
The 14th-floor Geishuu-no-Yu is the most substantial of these three hotel baths. The indoor bath uses spring water transported from Zeninji Onsen in Mihara; the men’s and women’s sides also have outdoor baths, dry saunas and cooled plunge baths. The bath is open from 3 p.m. until 10 a.m., with the sauna closed from 1 to 5 a.m.
Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m.; last entry is 9 a.m. Check the room plan if breakfast matters, since inclusion depends on the booking terms. If you are staying on October 15, 2026, note the hotel’s current maintenance notice: the bath is scheduled to close from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. that day and reopen after the work is finished.

Super Hotel: a downtown base with two useful inclusions
Super Hotel’s “Shukkei-no-Yu” is a natural hot spring, separated by gender, and open from 3 p.m. to 9 a.m. The hotel’s current bath page does not list a sauna, so do not book it for that feature. The chain’s 2021 opening announcement identified Zeninji in Mihara as the source; its current group spring table does not name a source for this property, so I would not assume that the supply arrangement has stayed the same without confirmation.
The free breakfast and 5–9 p.m. welcome bar make this a straightforward downtown stay. Streetcar stops are about eight minutes away, and a bus from Hiroshima Station to Tanaka-cho takes around 10 minutes, followed by a short walk. The property has nine first-come on-site spaces at ¥1,800 per day, with in-and-out access; its partner lot has 54 spaces at ¥1,100 per day but no re-entry. Parking rules and availability can change, so check the current map before driving in.
Super Hotel’s current spring page confirms the bathing facility as a natural onsen, but its group-wide spring table no longer names this property’s source. The source was identified as Zeninji in Mihara in the hotel’s 2021 opening notice; treat that as a dated attribution, not a newly verified 2026 supply statement. There is no sauna listed on the current bath page. For a room that can actually be used by children, compare the exact plan and shared-bath age rules; family room occupancy does not override the public bath’s gender-separation policy.
Grand Prince: choose the bay location as much as the bath
Seto-no-Yu gives the hotel the most open-water setting: its outdoor bath looks across the Seto Inland Sea, alongside an indoor bath, blower bath and sauna. The spring is listed as a sodium-calcium chloride hot spring with weak radon content, 25.7°C at source and pH 6.7. It is a cold spring when extracted and is heated for bathing.

The location is its defining compromise. Grand Prince is on Ujina’s waterfront rather than in central Hiroshima, but the hotel’s pier connects with its Miyajima service and a hotel shuttle runs to Hiroshima Station on a limited schedule. Confirm the sailing or shuttle for your date; neither is a reason to assume you can travel on demand.
