The bathing setup is compact: one indoor pool for each gender, with no public outdoor bath or sauna listed. Its appeal is the low entry price and the hotel’s clear statement that the bath is supplied with free-flowing spring water.

The ¥150 bathing-tax note on the hotel’s general information page is not normally added to this ¥350 public-bath ticket. Nagato City exempts public baths and qualifying day-use facilities costing less than ¥1,000; the city’s tourism listing also quotes ¥350 for Usagi no Yu. The wider Yumen area is promoted for radium or radon, but no facility-specific analysis published on the hotel page supports assigning a radon value to this bath.

Shampoo and other wash products are not supplied in the bathing area.
The inn also has a tatami-style reserved bath called Yuura, with an indoor bath and an outdoor ceramic tub. The current hotel page sets its use at ¥1,870 for 50 minutes and restricts it to overnight guests. Day visitors should not count on being able to book it as an add-on.
Reaching the hotel
Usagi no Yu is inside Yumen Kanko Hotel in Misumi, Nagato. The hotel lists a bus from JR Nagato-Misumi Station to the Yumen Onsen stop, about five minutes away by bus. Check the current timetable before setting out; if the return connection is awkward, a taxi gives you more control over the timing. The hotel has free parking, with spaces at the front and behind the building.
