Yagara Onsen: Sunday Morning Sento Near Kita-Tatsumi, Osaka

Yagara Onsen is a neighborhood sento in Tatsumi-higashi, Ikuno Ward. The useful distinction inside is the range of bathing temperatures: the Osaka bathhouse association lists the reclining and jet baths at about 38°C, alongside hotter tubs. That figure describes the bath, not a natural spring source temperature.
Sunday hours and September’s date-specific closure
The regular schedule is 2–11:30pm Monday through Saturday and 8am–11:30pm on Sunday, about a three-minute walk from Kita-Tatsumi Station on the Sennichimae Line. The usual rest days are the second and fourth Wednesdays, but the association’s listing gives September 9 and 30, 2026 as adjusted closures. Check the live notice for your visit date rather than calculating the Wednesday from the general rule.
There are five parking spaces, according to the association. The standard adult fare is ¥600; school-age children pay ¥200 and younger children ¥100.
Sauna, cold bath and outdoor bathing
The association lists a dry sauna, cold bath, carbonated bath, electric bath and outdoor bath. Its page describes the sauna as free, but dated visitor reports from June 2026 mention a ¥100 surcharge. That is a real source conflict, so do not rely on the older free-sauna listing if the extra would affect your decision; confirm at reception. The association has listed a five-space car park and a shallow bath suitable for children; neither removes the need to supervise children closely around the deeper pools.
The operator does not publish a fixed cold-bath temperature. Visitors have reported readings around 16–18°C, but those are date-specific observations, not a guaranteed set point. The association’s approximately 38°C figure applies to the reclining/jet bath. “Carbonated bath” describes a feature; no natural carbon-dioxide spring analysis is provided.
There is an outdoor resting area and a lounge with Wi-Fi, drinks and a massage chair. The facility is promoted as runner-friendly, but it does not advertise storage for large luggage.
