Where to bathe after dinner in Tsuruhashi: Tojo, Chitose or Nobeha?
After dinner in Tsuruhashi, choose Tojo for a quick station-side bath, Chitose by Korea Town or Nobeha for natural spring water and a longer stay.
After dinner in Tsuruhashi, the best bath depends on where you are when the meal ends. Tojo Onsen is close to Tsuruhashi Station and inexpensive, but closes at 10:30 p.m. Chitose Onsen is nearer Ikuno Korea Town and stays open until midnight. Nobeha no Yu Tsuruhashi is a larger natural-hot-spring complex with outdoor baths and saunas, though it costs more and takes longer to use.
| If… | Consider… | The catch |
|---|---|---|
| You are near Tsuruhashi Station and have about an hour | Tojo Onsen | Closes at 10:30 p.m.; avoid a late start. |
| You are around Ikuno Korea Town | Chitose Onsen | About a 10-minute walk from the station; no documented natural spring. |
| You want a natural hot spring and outdoor baths | Nobeha no Yu | Higher entry fee and a larger facility; allow time to change and move around. |
| Dinner ends after 9:30 p.m. | Nobeha, or a short visit to Chitose | Tojo is near closing; check last admission before setting out. |
Tojo Onsen: the quick station-side option
Tojo Onsen is about five minutes on foot from Tsuruhashi Station. It is open 3–10:30 p.m. and closes Fridays; the standard adult bath fee is ¥600. Facilities include a dry sauna, cold bath, electric bath, jet bath and reclining bath.
For a quick wash and soak after dinner nearby, the location is the point. No natural-spring analysis is available, so the name alone is not evidence of a legally classified hot spring. If you finish dinner at 9:30 p.m. or later, choose another place rather than relying on the final hour.
Chitose Onsen: pair it with the Korea Town side of Tsuruhashi
Chitose Onsen sits between Tsuruhashi and Ikuno Korea Town. It is about ten minutes from Tsuruhashi Station and roughly three to five minutes from the shopping street, depending on the route. The listed hours are 3 p.m. to midnight, with the first and third Tuesdays of the month as regular closing days. The standard adult bath fee is ¥600.
Its six types of bath include a medicinal bath and a dry sauna, so a companion who skips the sauna still has options. There is no published natural-spring analysis for the facility, and it is better treated as a neighborhood sento. If you are already shopping or eating around Korea Town, it saves a return walk to the station before bathing.
Nobeha no Yu: make time for the larger complex
Nobeha no Yu Tsuruhashi includes the hot-spring baths, outdoor baths and public saunas in general admission. It closes for occasional maintenance.
| Detail | Current listing |
|---|---|
| Hours | 9 a.m.–2 a.m.; general admission ends 1 a.m. |
| Weekday entry | ¥1,000 |
| Weekend and holiday entry | ¥1,100 |
| Face towel, purchase | ¥180 |
| Bath towel, rental | ¥180 |
This is the clear choice if natural spring water is a requirement. Source-fed baths, outdoor bathing and two types of sauna are included; the Korean-style heated room costs extra. You do not need to add it for a straightforward bath-and-sauna visit. For only 45 minutes, the larger venue may feel like more work than the nearby sento; with an hour and a half or more, the extra facilities are easier to use.
Nobeha refuses entry to guests with tattoos. If that applies, do not assume a cover patch is accepted. For Tojo or Chitose, ask the operator directly if you need a definite answer.
Let the dinner location decide
If you finish before 8:30 p.m., all three remain possible: stay near the station for Tojo, head toward Korea Town for Chitose, or make Nobeha the evening’s second activity. After 9:30 p.m., Tojo is no longer a comfortable plan. Chitose can still work for a shorter soak, while Nobeha has the latest listed last admission.
Compare the Ikuno sento directory for other neighborhood baths, or read the Nobeha Tsuruhashi guide for more detail on its private family baths and heated room.
