Kikunoyu Public Bathhouse, Yamanaka Onsen
A low-cost introduction to Yamanaka's public-bath culture. It is less suited to visitors looking for a sauna, open-air bath, varied pool facilities or an easy walk from a station.

- 45.2°C is the official representative temperature for Yamanaka Onsen, not a fixed bathing-pool temperature at Kikunoyu.

- Not published; no fixed official temperatures are listed for the men's or women's baths.

- The Kaga City 2026 information says waters from five Yamanaka Onsen source areas feed the distribution room beneath Kikunoyu. The proportions supplied to Kikunoyu are not published.

Bathing indications
Yamanaka Onsen lists general bathing indications including nerve, muscle and joint pain, frozen shoulder, sensitivity to cold and fatigue. This is not a treatment guarantee.
Water addition, heating, circulation, filtration and disinfection conditions are not published for each bath.
The bathhouse closed temporarily on 6 June 2026 because of a source-pump failure. The operator confirmed that both sides reopened on 12 June. Older cultural-experience pages still show ¥490 admission and a 06:45 opening; those figures are not used as the 2026 schedule.
